2025 Top 10 List.. must have beach items this summer!

Summertime means beach time! Seems like a simple concept, but kids can be needy. There are many things that you will want to bring with you in order to be prepared to stay the whole day and enjoy yourself. Here are a few things that you won’t want to go without.

1. Cooler bag– As soon as you get out of the car, what is the first thing you hear…. “I’m hungry!” Of course food is a priority. A hard heavy cooler is not the most convenient option. Getting the right cooler bag is easy to carry and perfect for holding sandwiches, snacks and drinks. This Rtic insulated cooler bag is my favorite!
2. Sunscreen– Of course sunscreen is a must. Everyone loves that vitamin D, but lets avoid those painful pink sunburns in the process! Here is my fav for both myself and the kids. I like to have spray sunscreen for squirmy bodies, and lotion sunscreen for faces to avoid the eyes.. And yes, I definitely have been that mom to spray sunscreen in my kid’s eye… oops! My kids are old enough now where I feel comfortable not needed baby sunscreen for sensitive skin, but here is what I have always found to be the best for my babies- Coppertone water babies
3. Large beach towels– my beach towels have to be oversized! This two and four pack of stylish towels are at a great price and these are perfect for the beach. They are perfectly thin for a hot summer day when you just need something to wrap up and dry off quickly or lay on the beach. Also sand free! 4. Beach chair– Mamas got to have a chair for relaxing on the beach! My absolute favorite is the Tommy Bahama chair for many reasons.. First of all, it can be carried like a backpack, freeing up hands for other things! Second, it sits low to the ground and close to the sand. I love to be in the sand without sitting on the ground. Third, it has pockets! There is two zip up pockets for carrying sunscreen or whatever mom needs. One is even insulated to keep things cool if needed. Fourth, you can sit up straight in this chair, or lounge back to soak up more sun. You definitely can’t go wrong with this chair! I might have 4…!
5. Sun Umbrella– As much as you might love the sun, sometimes you and the little ones might need a little shade and temporary relief from the beaming sun! This is my favorite because its light weight and just enough shade to take the edge off.
6. Beach toys– Of course the kids will want to make a sand castle! These simple beach toys bring hours of entertainment! These collapsible buckets are perfect because they work great and don’t take up much space at all when packing!
7. Wagon-to carry it all! By far the best thing I’ve purchased for our beach trips.. This wagon is light weight, folds up when I’m not using it and most importantly, it carries all of our things freeing up my hands for kids. Definitely a must!
8. Beach Bag – This waterproof bag is my absolute favorite! It is so cute and large to hold our towels, sunscreen, extra clothes, shoes, etc… It is the best that I’ve used.
9. Sunglasses Blenders are the best glasses I have owned that don’t break the bank. These aviators are my very favorite. They fit my face perfectly and can be adjusted to any face. They come in several different colors and have the perfect amount of tint.
10. After Sun Lotion Lets face it, everyone will probably be kissed by the sun by the end of the day. Water, sun, sand all day will definitely dries out your skin. This lotion is one of my favorites. It has soothing aloe, cocoa butter and shea butter. Plus it smells AMAZING!! It makes my skin feel so good after a fun day in the sun.
